Barcelona (3 nights)
Begin your private tour of Spain in Barcelona, a lively city situated on the coast in the Catalonia region. Spend your first morning of luxury travel in Spain sightseeing in the Gothic Quarter with your expert guide, stopping by the Cathedral of Barcelona and the Plaza St. Jaume. In the afternoon, continue your explorations with an e-biking tour, passing by Montjuic and the 1992 Olympic Stadium before ending at a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the city. The following day, visit the city’s modernist treasures as you follow in the footsteps of Antonio Gaudi. Begin at Casa Batllo and stop for a brief visit at La Pedrera before arriving at the famed La Sagrada Familia Cathedral, which is still under construction to this day.
Seville (3 nights)
Continue your luxury tour of Spain with a domestic flight to Seville, where you will discover the Andalucian city’s rich history and culture. Upon your arrival, embark on a family-friendly biking tour of Seville with your personal guide. Later, enjoy a tapas tour for a taste of the region’s gastronomy. The next day, experience a private guided tour of Seville’s highlights, including the Alcazar and the Cathedral, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the evening, enjoy a cocktail on a rooftop with impressive views of the Cathedral before watching a flamenco show from the front row. Before the performance, stop backstage to meet the dancers as they’re about to take the stage.
The following morning, you will have the option to visit the town of Jerez and enjoy the celebrated Jerez equestrian show from your VIP seats. Or, you may choose to visit a private bull farm, where you will witness the famous fighting bulls grazing in the field as they are prepped for their bullfight. Alternatively, take an exclusive tour of C5J, the best Iberian ham company in the area.
Madrid (2 nights)
The next stop in your tailor-made tour of Spain is Madrid. Depart Seville by train and arrive in Madrid, a city founded by the Moors in the 9th century and known today for its rich royal history and world-class art museums. With your expert guide, visit important sites such as the baroque Plaza Mayor, neoclassical structures such as the Puerta de Alcalá, and the Royal Palace, home to Spain’s kings for two centuries. The following day, visit the Prado Museum, one of the most important art museums in the world. There, you will have the option to begin your tour before the museum opens to the general public. Spend the rest of the afternoon sightseeing according to your interests, stopping at museums like the Reina Sofia, home to Picasso’s masterpiece “Guernica,” or the Thyssen Museum, whose collection spans centuries of art history.
