The Azuero Peninsula is a captivating region on Panama’s Pacific coast known for its lush jungles, golden beaches, and fascinating biodiversity.

How To Get There
Getting to and from the Azuero Peninsula is quick and convenient, with private air charters from Panama City to Pedasi taking around 45 minutes in the air. Upon arrival, a private car was ready and waiting to transport us to our private estate.
Luxury Adventures In Panama’s Azuero Peninsula
During our visit to the Azuero Peninsula, we stayed at a luxurious private ocean-front estate set within a sprawling jungle reserve. The property, which is spread over 17,000 square feet, features six luxury suites, making it the perfect option for groups to enjoy intimate travel experiences away from other tourists.
Surrounded by a breathtaking mosaic of verdant rainforests, pristine coastlines, and rugged cliffs that plunge dramatically into the Pacific Ocean, this was the perfect destination to truly unwind and immerse ourselves in nature. What’s more, we could admire the incredible ocean and jungle views from throughout the property, including the stunning infinity pool.
Throughout our vacation, we had access to a private hostess who took care of everything we needed and made sure we comfortable and satisfied.

The Highlights: Wildlife Encounters
This region is home to fascinating flora and fauna thanks to its varied landscapes and throughout our stay, we were invited to enjoy close encounters with Panama’s wildlife.
For example, we embarked on a horseback riding excursion through the old-growth forest where we got to witness coatimundi, sloths and howler monkeys. We continued by horse to the estate’s ecological reserve where our private guide explained the estate’s reforestation efforts.
I also recommend going for a hike or bike ride on the property’s network of trails that are maintained by the staff year round. Keep an eye out for the unique wildlife that surrounds you!

The Highlights: Private Boating
Throughout our stay, we had access to a private boat for bespoke excursions, including our tour to Iguana Island.
The island is a breathtaking natural reserve known for its pristine beaches, clear turquoise waters and diverse marine life. Engulfed by vibrant coral reefs, it is a great destination for snorkeling and diving, while its beautiful white sandy beaches are perfect for a day of relaxation.
While snorkeling at the well-preserved reef, our expert naturalist guide pointed out various species of coral, fish, and sea turtles.
The Highlights: Sport Fishing
The Tuna Coast, near to Pedasi, is a nearby coastal stretch renowned for its world-class sport fishing. Tours here are particularly popular among fishing enthusiasts who want the opportunity to catch Tuna, Sailfish, Marlin, Wahoo, Grouper and Snapper.
During our tour, we embarked on a private fishing trip to the Tuna Coast, accompanied by an expert guide. We caught a handful of different fish which our chef at the private estate later prepared to our liking. This was a welcomed addition to the unique world-class dining experiences we’d already experienced here.

The Highlights: Water Activities
With so much to see and explore within the private estate, we had plenty of opportunities to get up close and personal with the raw, natural beauty of the region while enjoying our time at leisure.
The property’s ideal coastal location opened the door to ample water activities, with my highlights including the kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and snorkeling. Home to some of the best surfing in Panama, the Azuero Peninsula is also a fantastic place to tear up the waves.
The Highlights: Exquisite Private Dining
The culinary experiences we enjoyed during this vacation to Panama’s Azuero Peninsula were outstanding. The private estate is staffed with a personal chef who created personalized meals for us every day.
As the estate boasts dozens of organic gardens and orchards and an “edible forest” which is full of fruits, nuts, herbs and vegetables, every meal was super fresh and delicious. What’s more, the dining table was decorated differently each day so every meal felt like a new experience.
