Blue Parallel
recently finished coordinating the logistics for a 2-year aerial photography project with National Geographic photographer Robert B. Haas, covering the most spectacular highlights of South and Central America. The project’s goal was to capture the diversity of the region, ranging from the natural beauty of Andean snow-capped peaks and turquoise Caribbean seas, to man-made urban and remote cultural sites, in an exceptional effort to gain international recognition for this vast area of the world.

Our function spanned from researching and implementing itineraries with
detailed information on country destinations, base choices, flight circuits,
aircraft providers, personnel, contract work, permits required to fly over
and photograph national parks, as well as arranging hotels and ground transportation, and the overall support for the twelve
trips involved.

The following countries were photographed as part of this project: Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, Chile and Argentina.
Haas’ spectacular images have recently been published by
National Geographic in the highly-anticipated book
“Through the Eyes of the Condor”, which was released in September.
